Preti is a Contributing Editor at And Other Stories, twice winner of the International Booker Prize for fiction in translation.

She is a guest editor for AGNI, and a contributing editor at The White Review.

She collaborates with visual artists on writing and art, including Issam Khourbaj, Chitra Ganesh, and Turner Prize winners Jasleen Kaur and Helen Marten.

She co-founded and edited Visual Verse, the online anthology of art and words (2013-2023) now archived at Newcastle University as a shared testimony to our times.
